Discussing AI on Radio Friends with Paul Pepper
Blockchain technology is being applied—or attempting to be applied—in many new areas including law, shipping, contracts, government, healthcare, etc. Putting aside the issue of whether all these applications are really a good fit for blockchain technology, more people want to know how a blockchain works. As an educator, I am very interested in how to teach students about blockchain technology without overwhelming them with technical details. So I set out to develop a hands-on exercise that could be used with any group of students from high school students to adults. We'll talk about the game and play it for a little bit.
During this past spring, Professor Christianson was invited to give a series of lecture and workshops at SUMY State University in Eastern Ukraine. Scott made lots of new friends and colleagues, and got to learn a little about how Higher Education works in this part o the world. He will share his professional and personal experience along with some travel advice if you should ever want to visit this area of the world.
